Who we are

THE PUMP GYM is the controller of your personal data. You can reach us at any time through the Contact page on this website or at the gym's reception.

What we collect

• Account and membership: name, phone number, email (if given), date of birth, gender, emergency contact, member number and your profile photo if you add one.
• Membership and payments: packages, start and end dates, freezes, invoices, receipts and any balance due. We do not store bank card details.
• Entry and attendance: your visit history (date and time) from the entrance gate. If you agree to face or fingerprint entry, a biometric template is enrolled on the gate device for that purpose only and with your explicit consent.
• InBody measurements: weight, muscle mass, body fat and segmental analysis, to show you your progress.
• Classes, training and loyalty: your bookings, personal-training sessions, loyalty coins and rewards.
• Machine workout log: your use of a machine is recorded only when you scan the QR code on it yourself in the app (machine and time). We do not track machine use with cameras.
• CCTV inside the gym: for security and running the facility, with clear signs at the entrance. The entrance camera may take a few photos when you enter, linked to your visit to confirm who entered, deleted automatically after a set period.
• Technical data when you use the app or website: device type and app version, sign-in sessions, IP address and security logs that protect your account.
• Website forms: your name, phone number and message when you send an inquiry or a trial request.

Why we use your data

• To provide your membership: gym entry, managing your membership, classes and training.
• To issue invoices and receipts and to comply with accounting and tax laws.
• To send notifications about your membership (renewals, freezes, schedules) and offers if you agreed to them — you can turn them off at any time.
• To keep the gym and its members safe, prevent misuse and protect accounts.
• To improve our services using aggregated statistics that do not identify you.

Legal basis

We process your data to perform your membership contract, to comply with the law (such as keeping financial records), for our legitimate interest in keeping the premises secure, and with your explicit consent for things like biometric entry and marketing messages — consent you can withdraw at any time.

Sharing

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our behalf (such as hosting our systems and sending messages), only as far as necessary and under confidentiality obligations, or when a competent authority requires it by law.

How long we keep it

• Membership data for as long as your membership lasts, then as long as needed to serve you or resolve any claims.
• Invoices and payments for the period required by Egyptian law.
• Biometric templates are removed from the gate device when your membership ends or you withdraw consent.
• Live camera views inside our system are temporary and are not archived by us.

How we protect it

We use fully encrypted connections (HTTPS), encryption for photos and sensitive files, role-based access for every staff member, an audit trail for every sensitive action, and two-step verification for administrative accounts.

Your rights

• Access your data and receive a copy of it.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data (except what the law requires us to keep).
• Withdraw your consent to biometric entry or marketing messages.
• Lodge a complaint with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.

Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your account in the app (Settings → Delete my account) or through the gym. Full details are on the account deletion page.

Children

The app and website are not directed to children under 13. Memberships for anyone under 18 are made with a parent's or guardian's consent at the gym.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The new effective date will be shown at the top of this page, and we will let you know in the app about any significant change.
